From the episode: “What’s the time when most people leave faith? What’s the time when most people start to develop a mature faith? I think of youth ministry as the church’s front line in the West! And you don’t send your untrained, unqualified troops to the front line. It is simply wrong and (I’m just going to get a little fiery) condescending and shortsighted to think that youth can only identify with someone who is childish. That is not the case at all.”
